Italian gun maker Sabatti cold hammer forges their barrels in house from induction treated Chrome Moly steel. The result is an exceptionally accurate rifle with a long barrel life. The action features a dual-opposed locking lug bolt design with a Sako style extractor and plunger ejector. The two-position safety, when thumbed to the rear, engages a lug that blocks the trigger and also locks the bolt handle down to prevent the one-piece bolt from opening.
