Hoppe's No. 9 remains the most widely used remover of powder, lead,metal fouling and rust.

Quickly dissolves welded copper fouling from bore steel without the use of ammonia. Can be used alone or as a powerful systems approach with Hoppe's Elite Gun Cleaner by removing layers of carbon build up allowing for more rapid copper etching. Does not leave ammonia-type crystals that can attract water causing corrosion and microscopic stress fractures.
